2021 Oscar Ödülleri düzenlenen özel bir tören ile sahiplerini buldu. Covid-19 salgını sebebiyle hibrit bir sunuma imza atılan gecede hem uzaktan bağlantılar hem de yüz yüze bir sunum tercih edildi. Ayrıca normal şartlarda Şubat ayında görmeye alıştığımız Oscar töreni yine pandemi koşulları sebebiyle iki ay ertelemeli olarak düzenlendi.
Geceye damgasını vuran film ise Nomadland oldu. En iyi film ödülünü de kucaklayan Nomadland geceden 3 ödül ile ayrılırken 10 dalda aday olarak bu yılın en çok adaylığına sahip olan Mank filmi ise 4 Oscar heykelini kucakladı.
2021 Oscar Ödülleri açıklandı
Anthony Hopkins ise mükemmel bir performans sergilediği The Father filmindeki rolü ile Kuzuların Sessizliği filminin ardından bir kez daha En İyi Erkek Oyuncu ödülünü kazanmış oldu. Bu ödül aynı zamanda 83 yaşında olması sebebiyle en yaşlı Oscar ödülünü kucaklayan oyuncu ünvanını da Hopkins’e kazandırmış oldu. Geçtiğimiz yılın gişe konusunda tartışmaları getiren filmi Tenet ise en iyi görsel efekt ödülünü kazandı.
