Bu yıl 78. kez düzenlenecek olan Altın Küre Ödülleri‘nin adayları Hollywood Yabancı Basın Birliği (HFPA) tarafından resmi olarak açıklandı. Yayınlanan listeye baktığımızda Netflix‘in, sinema kategorisinde 22, dizi kategorisinde de 20 adaylıkla Altın Küre’ye yine damga vurduğunu görüyoruz. Adaylıklar arasında 6 adaylık ile Mank en çok aday gösterilen sinema filmi olurken, The Crown ise yine 6 adaylıkla en çok aday gösterilen televizyon dizisi oldu. Kazananlar, 28 Şubat 2021 tarihinde düzenlenecek ödül töreninde belli olacak.
